Retail Supervisor
JOB SUMMARYThe Retail Supervisor provides support and works in New York State products through Nelson Farms Country Store, SUNY Morrisville, and Morrisville Auxiliary Corporation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Under the direction of the Director of Retail Operations, the Retail Supervisor supervise operations of Country Store to include but not limited to staffing, scheduling, inventory and purchasing Oversee Sales Staff, including but limited to scheduling, training, and monitor compliance with all procedures Prepares and ensures that cash ups and accounts receivable for following company procedures Maintain POS including product additions and modifications Ensure Nelson Farms online store is up to date Coordinates with MAC's marketing department for print and electronic material Collaborates with store associates to ensure consumer product needs are addressed Research NYS products to diversify the Nelson Farms store offerings Preparing purchase and placing orders with vendors for store product; along with ensuring correct forms are acquired for proper documentation and compliance with company policies Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School graduate or equivalent; Associate degree or minimum 3 years' experience in Sales and/or Retail required; proven ability to promote and present business concepts and products; working knowledge of Point of Sale systems; working knowledge of Microsoft Office skills, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and ExcelQUALITIES Ability to effectively communicate effectively with vedors and faculty Strong attention to detail Self-motivated Take initiative, anticipate, prioritize, and follow tasks through to completion Conflict resolution abilities Integrity and trustworthiness Adhere to company, department and State guidelines as directed Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Predictable and reliable attendance Strong customer service skills are a must PHYSICAL CONDITIONS AND DEMANDSGeneral office conditions; must be able to sit for long periods of time; must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

This includes campus dining services, two housing facilities, College ID services, facilities maintenance, catering services, the Campus Store, and more.
MAC also owns and operates Nelson Farms Country Store & Production Facility, Morrisville Ice Plex, and the Copper Turret Restaurant.
